Privacy policy

If you sign up for rental alerts, we collect your email address, the first name you give us (optional), which areas you asked to hear about, and a record of your consent: the date and time you subscribed, the IP address the request came from, and the exact wording you agreed to. We keep the consent record because Canada's anti-spam legislation requires us to be able to show that you asked to hear from us.

If you contact us by phone, email, or one of our intake forms, we collect whatever you choose to tell us so we can answer you.

We use Vercel Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies and does not build a profile of you across sites.

Rental alert addresses are used for one thing: emailing you when new listings come up in the areas you picked. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not use your address for unrelated marketing.

Rental alert subscriptions are stored and sent through Resend, our email provider. This website is hosted by Vercel. Both process data on our behalf and under contract, and neither is permitted to use your information for their own purposes.

Our rental listings come from ManageBuilding (Buildium), and rental applications are submitted on Buildium's own portal under their privacy policy, not ours.

Every rental alert email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. It also lets you change which areas you hear about instead of leaving entirely. You can also email or call us and we will remove you.

Under BC's Personal Information Protection Act you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email or call us using the details below and we will respond within 30 days.

Rental alert subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Tenancy and management records are kept as long as BC residential tenancy and business record rules require.
